Viva Tee Eva y Los Crackers in Caracas – Happy Hour – It’s New Orleans
Tee Eva Perry was the very first guest on the very first Happy Hour ever, November 28th, 2010. We called the first episode Pralines and Panties because Tee Eva makes pralines and the show was recorded in the lingerie store, Basics Underneath. The week before we recorded Pralines and Panties we recorded a pilot show to try out the equipment and our rudimentary podcast skills, at Tee Eva’s store on Magazine Street. We ditched that recording because it basically sucked. But if you’re a fan of Tee Eva and you really want to hear our first conversation with her at the lingerie storeyou can find it here: http://www.itsneworleans.com/shows/happy-hour/happy-hour-pralines-and-panties
Tee Eva’s next appearance on Happy Hour was this show, Viva Tee Eva y Los Crackers in Caracas. The show was recorded at The Columns Hotel on October 3rd 2012. It’s ironic now that it’s called Viva Tee Eva. Tee Eva passed away on Thursday June 7th, 2018.
In Tee Eva’s honor we’re re-posting this show. It also features Kevin Wilkins, who was at the time at The Idea Village, Marcel Mata who was plotting the demise of the late Hugo Chavez, and music guests The Parishoners.
