Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, and Jason – Happy Hour – It’s New Orleans
This is not typically the place to come for breaking news – a bunch of random folks in a bar.
But when one of those folks is New Orleans Council Member Jason Williams and the conversation turns to the Chief of Police…
Remember, you heard it here first.
Sarah Jane McMahon may not be a household name if, your household doesn’t know much about opera. Sarah Jane is in fact one of the superstars of world opera. Originally from Metairie and a Loyola grad, Sarah Jane was handpicked by Placido Domingo to perform with him in at the Los Angeles Opera and continues to perform in opera houses around the world from San Francisco to Munich.
Sarah Quintana is the founder – as of this conversation – of the Human Doing Party.
Enlisting Jason, Sarah Jane, and the rest of the Happy Hour cocktail crew, Sarah is set to model the party after the French entertainment industry in which she spends half of her year.
Between political polemics and social consciousness Sarah sings two beautiful songs, one about the joy of freedom, dedicated to Herman Wallace who spent 43 years in jail before being pardoned, and died mere days after his release. The other song’s about the beach.
Sarah Reagor is sitting in for the touring Andrew Duhon.
Chef Kevin White treats the party to one of his signature sandwiches, the kind of dish that puts every other sandwich to shame.
It’s hard to do justice to the delicious taste a humble sandwich can have in the creative hands of a fine dining chef but we do our best here.
